Description

“It's the summer of 2020, the summer of COVID-19 and a thousand twenties crises. It was the summer that I caught the earliest possible flight on March 20 to escape the outbreak of the UK, stuck at Bangkok airport for 24 hours because the transit flight to Saigon was cancelled..

It's every summer night lying in bed, stressing about thesis deadlines, stress about being unemployed, not making money, stress about missing internship opportunities that help your career, stress about unfinished schooling - countless numbers. Only now can I go back to the UK and finish my university degree, stressing about being vague, not knowing who I am.”

The Planet of a Thinker is a journey to discover the inner world of a young person. It is a chaotic planet of anxious thoughts, torments, inner battles, emotions that are both complex and very human. A world familiar to all of us.

Containing the sharing and knowledge from the podcast of Amateur Psychology - The author will guide you and take you to every secret corner of the planet from a more in-depth perspective. .

And if you're also a thinker, welcome to this planet.

“Loneliness does not lie in not having friends or loved ones, but even in being together, we still feel that no one can fully understand us from the depths of our soul. It's the loneliness of being alone on a lonely planet in your head, a planet that never has visitors."

    It is ok

A book that I looked forward to a lot when it was first published. A book that I spent the whole evening wandering around SG just to find one. In the end, it didn't leave much of an impression.

For me, this is a book... too light... When I looked at the title, I expected a lot more for this book... Actually, introvert, shy about socializing, thinking too much about the problems happening around and then falling back because of the feeling that they are walking slowly and gradually separating from society ... is something that introverts have to go through. This book will be more suitable for those who are new to society, starting with an independent life or starting to cope with society. At this stage, the book will bring close perspectives, common problems that happen around and readers can feel and understand quite slowly. And if anyone has had the experience, this book will not bring too much value.

    Excellent Book

Rachel Clemetson on 17th Mar 2023

he author is Vietnamese, which surprised me a bit. At first on tiki, I saw that the number of sales was also high, highly appreciated, so I bought it and read it. A rather compact book. In my opinion, the content of the book is normal, it seems to be a collection of podcasts, I have never listened to her podcast. The good thing about the book is the very realistic perspective, the real experience of the author. The book has taken the actual research to prove it is also quite convincing. Because they are the same Z generation, when I read some parts, I feel like I am in them. To say that this is a good book is not quite right. The first is quite short, just stating the point of view, not going into depth. Second, the book is like the author's self-exploration, so it will only help readers empathize, but nothing special. However, when I read it, I have the same opinion, plus the actual experience, so I still give it 4 stars
