Great quality books
Great book. We have a few of these roald Dahl books and the kids love them. Perfect for bed time or for some casual story time during the day. Our oldest who is 2.5 will regularly pick them up and “read” them herself.

Some baffling choices of pictures and words
An ABC book is mostly used by very young children learning to link letter shapes with sounds. Many of the words and pictures in this book are unhelpful in this respect, such as linking 'knobbly knees' with 'k'. A child of 6 who perhaps understands that a k can be silent may find this amusing but it is completely baffling for a 3 year old. I read the book once with my 3 year old grandson but reckon the book is destined for a charity shop. I was expecting much better!

Filled with Roald Dahl's characters, fun!
My kid's loved reading Roald Dahl's books when they were growing up, so now that I have a grandchild, I enjoyed gifting this book. The new parents were excited to see all their favorite characters in this ABC book and enjoyed sharing them with our new family member. The artwork is much the same as what you see in other Roald Dahl books and the book flows nicely along.
