Truly one of the greatest men in history
After reading this book, it really seems like most other "great" people I have learned about actually had fairly easy lives. In Nelson Mandela, we have a man who sacrificed family for his mission. He risked and lost his own freedom (for 27 and a half years) for the freedom of his nation. Even before prison, he endured many years of poverty and isolation in order to make the world around him better.
